I am on some days enclosed in my cocoon of childish imagination. I actually love reading magical stories and children’s books as they can take me away from the daily mundane tasks and help me relax by imagining happy endings, feel good, never hurting stories and crazy talks going beyond reality with all smiling faces and chatty characters. This is my way of escaping some serious stuff I deal with everyday.
I was reading this book the other day and this is just a normal fairy tale book but that I bought from BIG BAD WOLF book fair in the Philippines last year. I need to say that it was the grandest time I have experienced attending a book fair and would not hesitate attending again on their next visit.
Anyway, this book tells about an opinionated garden fairy who is considered by her community as the best-dressed fairy in the land. She speaks her truth regardless of how hurtful it can be to others but in no way the fairy intends to do it. She’s helpful to other fairies but likes to live the comfortable life that she’s used to like wearing comfy shoes, nice dresses and live in a nice house.
I would say there are three (3) lessons I get to learn from it, and it is applicable for all readers, young and old:
Be mindful of how you communicate with others- Some people are born sensitive and would rather hear the good part and ignore the bad while others would like to hear the truth regardless of the consequences it can cause to other people. This put friendships and relationships at stake. We say what we can also take. Perhaps saying bad things in a nice way is a good choice for me.
Live and let loose. Having fun, a little play and getting dirty at times are all good things. They all help us see the other side of life. Life is too short, so we can make our choices which one we put more attention to: work, sleep, eat, love or play.
The greatest rewards come from the hardest struggles -In the book, Rosetta the Fairy Queen did not reward Rosetta when she called for help to save the land from fire. She rewarded those who were brave enough to put off the fire by risking their lives. Rosetta got an award from the Queen Fairy when she saved her friend by doing something she hated and was scared the most.
Often times, success is measured in ways we cannot imagine we did, but we were brave enough to do it for the sake of our dreams.
Writing your own book is probably one of the biggest thing you can do on this quarantine time. You don’t get bored and you learn and earn.
Indeed Covid-19 made tremendous change in the people’s lifestyle. Recently, people are looking for ways to earn income and probably has heard or read a lot about making money online but few succeeded due to the keen competition on finding online jobs. However, if writing is something you fancy and if you are the person who loves words and phrases and not afraid to share your thoughts, then you can make money by writing a book.

Writing a book does not require financial capital if you are keen on collaborating with others. You will learn all these in the coaching link below. The biggest investment you will need is probably your time and commitment to finish your story. Nowadays, many authors have self-published and do well. You can too.
What do you need to get started?
Knowledge is key. So I would suggest you equip yourself with as much knowledge as you can before you start. If you want to make it a commitment, there are shortcut ways to do it, with a mentor that is. Knowing what to write and how to do it will not only save you time but also keep you away from doing the mistakes of a newbie in the writing industry.
Yes, you can write your own book even if you are not a writer. This is what one author tells all the people she met, including me. You only need to have your own ideas and must be willing and have a good reason to share it.
If you are an aspiring author, maybe a teacher who is required to write a book, perhaps someone who just loves to share your ideas to the world or if you own a business and you want to share it, then this is a good project to work on. Students are also accepted to the program.

It had been a busy week and so better late than never, l’m sharing the newest book in my shelf which I just finished reading. The reason why I love this brilliant book is credited to its meaningful content, at least to me who is experiencing the things about how beneficial thinking can be to leaders. As a manager of a small and a start up company, I never thought that I was doing the right thing about thinking. I started managing from scratch and whatever the company has now is definitely a product of our team effort and creativity. This book confirms that what we were doing then and now is right and our continuous improvement is credited to our clients’ criticisms not praises.
It gives me more confidence than ever to proceed with what I have envisioned. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it!
I love how the author eloquently describes his ideas that is so easy to understand, connects to reality, and helps for self-assessment, a good follow through.
This book is a must read for all leaders, managers, educators and traders if you wanna equip yourselves with a vision that anything great and successful started with a simple thought, selected, implemented and enacted, then, this one’s for you!
If I only have the chance to meet the author of this book, I would not hesitate inviting him to talk to us SMALL people who think BIG. His book inspires, so his speech I’m pretty sure.
HAPPY READING, I hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as I did!:)
